Ingfield Light Railway is a privately run, ten and a quarter inch gauge railway in the grounds of 
Ingfield Manor School.
The school is for children who have cerebral palsy and the railway not only helps to raise money but is also great enjoyment for the kids at the various weekends and fundays held throughout the year.
The railway is approximately a third of a mile long starting at Haven Road on the edge of the schools playing field, through to Hazel Bank passing through five other stations, see our guided tour page for more information on the track layout and technical information on the railway.
All money raised from donations and membership fees goes towards maintenance and upkeep of the railway and the remaining will go to the school.
Throughout the year we run various events, fundays and also work and maintenance weekends.
New members and volunteers are always welcome! If you wish to visit the railway please contact us in advance as we are a private railway. We can also run charters for societies or groups.
